"Irish Jam" Celt Fest                   Carlisle, Iowa
We are very excited about having the 'Foy Irish Step Dancers' and the 'Irish Session Performers' perform at Our Celtic Festival this year at Scotch Ridge Center on Saturday June 20th 2009. This year we are showcasing the Irish Celtic people with "Irish Jam". We are a community based festival with volunteer activities provided by school students, scouts, youth groups, musicians, performers and area churches.

Central Iowa Celtic Festival & Highland Games                   Urbandale, Iowa
What is the Central Iowa Celtic Festival? It is a way of celebrating Celtic culture and heritage. It includes entertainment and exhibits related to other aspects of Scottish, Irish and Welsh culture. If you or your ancestors immigrated from Scotland, Ireland, Wales, The Isle of Man, Cornwall (Southwest England), Brittany (Northern France) or Galicia (Northern Spain) then you are likely descended from the Celts.  At the festival you will see performances by Irish Step Dancers & Irish and Scottish Bands.
